Annual Scholarships

The Pinellas County Gator club awards scholarships each spring to high school seniors who have committed to attending and confirmed enrollment at the University of Florida. These scholarships are made possible by the generous contributions of our Pinellas Gator Alumni and sponsors through events, watch parties, and the Annual Gator Tarpon Fishing Tournament. We appreciate all donations, which are tax deductible.

To date, we have granted over $100,000 in scholarships to more than 125 high school seniors from Pinellas County. Our largest and most anticipated philanthropic event is the annual Gator Tarpon Fishing Tournament, where anglers from all over the Tampa Bay area gather to compete on the open water and raise funds for our scholarships.

We are pleased to announce that we are offering $3,000 scholarships to incoming UF students through 2 scholarship opportunities. Scholarship applications open next spring, please check back at that time.
