is your “Home of the Gators” in Pinellas County, Florida!

The Pinellas County Gator Club is your Gator home away from Gainesville! Originally founded in 1979 as an affiliate of the UF Athletic Association, we are the official chapter of University of Florida Alumni Association in Pinellas County and are here so serve you, the alumni of the greatest University in the country. Membership is open to all Gator alumni as well as friends and family members of the University of Florida.

By engaging and strengthening the alumni network in Pinellas County through our various networking and outreach events, our club is able to serve the University of Florida and help advance its mission and objectives, including supporting UF’s goal of promoting its spot in the US News and World Report rankings.

Pinellas County Gator Club

Throughout the year, we offer a variety of both professional and personal networking opportunities with local alumni and friends of the University of Florida in various capacities. Some of our regular events include cheering for the Florida football team each and every Saturday during football season, networking with fellow Gators throughout Pinellas County and even Tampa Bay, hosting charity event that benefit both our local area and the University of Florida, rallying local anglers at our annual Tarpon Fishing Tournament, and keeping the spirit of the Gator Nation strong in Pinellas. 
 
We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) dedicated to providing scholarships to the incoming students of UF from Pinellas County. Each year we award Emerson Scholarship to deserving high school seniors making their way to Gainesville in the Fall. The Pinellas County Gator Club prides itself on community, professionalism, and contribution within the Bay Area.
 
-Over $150,000 in scholarships awarded to over 125 students
-Appx 2000 University of Florida Alumni Association members in Pinellas County
-Previous awards from UFAA include Best In State Club, Outstanding Club Communications, Young Alumni Leader of the Year, The Regional Directors Award
